A procuratorial room and an intellectual property studio accredited by the people's procuratorate of Wenjiang district opened in Chengdu Medical City July 25.

Located in Huali community service center, Yongning town, the procuratorial room and associated studio are staffed by three experienced police officers from the people's procuratorate of Wenjiang.

The officers will provide intellectual property rights protection, improve corporate governance structures and legal business environments, resolve company disputes and supervise administrative law enforcement services for companies based in Chengdu Medical City.

The medical city currently hosts 263 pharmaceutical companies, including 96 key biological medicine companies and several medical institutions experiencing an increased demand for targeted judicial services.

The establishment of the procuratorial room and intellectual property studio should improve legal risk prevention measures while providing a stable social environment for Chengdu Medical City.
